Beschreibung
Henry Fuhrman and Elsie Flusche were the heart and soul of the Fuhrman family. Henry, the son of John and Mary Ursula Engert Fuhrmann, hailed from Riverdale Township, Iowa. There, he met and fell in love with Elsie Mae, a woman of charm and grace, originally from Iowa but destined to be part of their Texan adventure.
After their marriage, Henry and Elsie embarked on a new journey, moving to the parental John Fuhrmann farm in Sec. 28 of Riverdale Township. As they settled into their rural life, they welcomed their first child, Elsie Mae, into the world. This was just the beginning of their family's story.
Life in Riverdale Township was the backdrop for their early years together, and as time passed, they decided to head to Texas, where they would make their home and extend their family. In the heart of Lindsay, Texas, Henry and Elsie's family flourished. Five more children were born, each bringing their own unique personalities and dreams to the Fuhrman household.
As the years rolled on, Henry and Elsie's love and commitment to one another stood as a testament to the enduring strength of family bonds. Henry's long and fulfilling life eventually came to a peaceful end in April 1976, at the remarkable age of 90. Elsie, his beloved wife, continued to live in Muenster, Texas, a testament to her resilience and strength.
The Fuhrman family's story is one of love, growth, and the enduring spirit of family ties. It's a story that spans generations, from rural Iowa to the warm embrace of Texas, and continues to be written through the lives of their children and their descendants.
