Lucy is an author with a past she would rather forget. Matthew has worked in the adult entertainment industry since he was 18 and is starting to get bored with the repetition of it all. Neither of them know they are both each other's biggest fans. When Matthew finds out his favorite author is a woman who has been writing under a male pen name all these years, he convinces her to take the leap and step out from the shadows. The two start a secret romance while working to turn Lucy's books into a movie. Lucy's trust issues start to get in the way when things start to get serious between the two of them. However, Matthew has some secrets of his own he has to work through in order for them to finally get their happily ever after.
