Life never goes according to plan, but for stubborn, strong-willed Lizzie, giving up control may be something she is forced to do to see His bigger plan.
Like many of her peers in her nursing program, Elizabeth "Lizzie" is a typical student: She barely sleeps, barely eats, has no social life, and is always studying. But, such is the life of a nursing school student.
Or is it?
Most of the time, Lizzie feels like she's just going through the motions to get to the next day... in life and especially in her relationship with God. She's a Christian but not actively invested in her faith.
As life picks up and Lizzie becomes more distant from God, things in her life start to fall apart until she reaches her breaking point. At that moment, it takes a drastic divine intervention to get her back on track.
The only question is, will Lizzie listen? Even though God has a will for her-greater than her own desires for her life-does Lizzie have the brain and heart space to let go of control in favor of a path that will not only change her life for the better but affect those around her?
Of Little Faith is an evocative and relevant narrative for today's young Christians. Rooted in Christian living principles, the book tells the all-too-relevant story of young people today: doing all they can handle, trying to build a better life for themselves, and letting the most important and intangible things, like a relationship with God, fall by the wayside until there's "more time." Not to mention, there is a desperate attempt to keep control of life within our grasp instead of letting God's will dictate how our lives can serve others.
Let go and let God with Of Little Faith.
