This book introduces the role of the storyboard in the animation process and the history of storyboard; it teaches methods of theme analysis, story structure analysis and the rhythm analysis. In addition, it show what aspects should a storyboard designer pay attention to in the role and scene modeling. It introduces the basic theory of audio-visual language, the design of the lens and action in the storyboard, the visual modeling elements and composition methods, the bones and rhythm of images, the structures of light and shadows in lens, the skills of designing performances and actions of characters, the skills and techniques of scene scheduling, and finally, the process, type and style of the storyboard creation.
