Beschreibung

A few degrees of extra warmth in the Ocean may lead to surprises.

Working in the Orkney Islands, a young female marine biologist, reeling from a recent break up finds a live GreenTurtle, a Goddess of the Sea, on the beach. This startling discovery about the  warming ocean, has deeper effects, enough in fact to change her relationship with her work colleague.

The Orkney archipelago lies in the path ot the Gulf Stream, or the North Atlantic Drift as it is also called. Continually millions of gallons of warm water pump out from the Caribbean and stream north east carrying zooplankton, phytoplankton and jelly fish towards the British Isles. Following this mobile food source, sea creatures such as turtles, basking sharks and fish reach our shores.
