But why do conspicuous differences in behaviour occur, and how can they be explained? - In our globalised world, in which members of different cultures meet more and more frequently due to economic relations, internet communication and migration movements, these topics are increasingly discussed emotionally - cultural psychology responds to this with scientifically sound contributions. In addition, it sees itself as an interdisciplinary discipline that critically examines the supposedly universal psychological laws of perception, feeling and thinking that have been established in Western culture.
