Master's Thesis from the year 2022 in the subject Sociology - Relationships and Family, Tribhuvan University (Butwal Multiple Campus), course: Sociology, language: English, abstract: This study extends the knowledge on the impact of capitalism on family transition in Nepal. Family is consisted of married couples and groups of adults who collaborate with each other in the upbringing of children. Though family structure varies with time across cultures and it has six primary tasks reproduction, shelter and socialization, regulation of sexual behavior, love, friendship and provision of social status and it is the smallest social entity around which living activities are collectively organized for an individual member's physical, financial and more importantly for his/her emotional well-being. The main objective of the study: To find out the past and present family types. To identify the role of capitalism to bring change in the family. The study has been organized into five different chapters. The first chapter deals Introduction which includes Background of the study, Statement of the problem, Objectives of the study, Significance of the study, and Organization of the study. The second chapter includes review of literature. Similarly, the third chapter includes Research Methodology. The fourth chapter includes Analysis of data. The Fifth chapter includes Summary, Findings, conclusion of the study and in the last of the study has been included reference, Annex-1 and Annex-2. In Annex-1 the case study and in Annex-2 survey questionnaire has been attached.
