Beschreibung

Essay from the year 2024 in the subject Politics - Region: Africa, , language: English, abstract: A good constitution must come from the people, a good constitutional revision must still have the general interest, not personal or governmental. A social contract between governors and governed is necessary for its realization and respect, the Thisekedist vision will seek a yes from the population for its maintenance in order to restore democracy to an ultimate value in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Every constitution being a human work, it is made to be adapted to the evolution of society. As soon as the constitution itself provides that, we must revise it. The question asked is whether the idea of constitutional revision initiated by President Félix Tshisekedi is a social contract between those who govern and those who are governed?
