Essay from the year 2021 in the subject Theology - Miscellaneous, grade: C, , course: магистр, language: Russian, abstract: The article clearly highlights how the scribes of the Greek antique texts, mistaking the name of the ancient city, actually hid its great history from the descendants. Such mistakes helped to hide the reason for the appearance in the South Baltic of a number of ancient Polish and German cities with a gard root. Thus, in the Northern Black Sea region, the capital of a mighty ancient power disappeared, whose army utterly defeated the 30 thousandth army of the Macedonians. It is presented how, armed with the scientific legacy of Claudius Ptolemy, it became possible, with the help of localized Holmgard, to localize the legendary Asgard. It is clearly shown how, using the Ptolemy coordinates of the ancient cities of the Northern Black Sea region, the weighted average amendment makes it possible to determine the locality of the search for ancient settlements, forgotten ancient city-states.
