This updated book introduces a new process-oriented approach towards speech quality assessment. Using multiple methods, this approach allows readers to investigate the influence of speech transmission quality on perceptual and cognitive processes in human listeners. Fundamental concepts and methods related to the topic of process-oriented speech quality assessment are introduced and discussed.
