The Ishavasya Upanishad is considered to be one of the most authoritative texts of the Vedic scriptures. The proper understanding of this Upanishad is the key to unlock the rest of these scriptures. This text is essential in the study of Hinduism in general and Vedanta in particular, since it teaches the essential unity of God and the universe.
