Beschreibung

Read for Yourself is Taiwanese Australian writer Sunflower's fourth collection of blog articles. Written during June 2010 and June 2019 and published on the "Voices under the Sun" blog (Taiwan), these are her comments on all aspects of Chinese and Western literature and arts. Most of these articles celebrate reading as an art and an essential part of modern life. Others explore the triumphs and challenges faced by those writers, translators, readers, reviewers and literary scholars in both Chinese and English Worlds.

Born in 1971 in Taipei, Taiwan and now based in Melbourne, Australia, Sunflower is a bilingual writer, translator, reader, reviewer, journalist, independent scholar and publisher in both Chinese and English languages. Via her website eBook Dynasty, she assists emerging and established English-language authors, literary agents and publishers to translate, publish and promote their titles to the Chinese World. She also helps Chinese-language writers promote their writings to the English World.
