Beschreibung

I received the manuscript and read it all in one go, and without realizing it, my eyes became blurry and moist. The book documented many people and events, from the June 4th gathering at Victoria Park during the typhoon signal No. 8 in 1989, to the events of 12 June 2019, the Lennon Tunnel in Tai Po, the 21 July 2019 Yuen Long Incident, the innocent students being brutally beaten by the police at Tai Po train station, the siege of PolyU...

It was a tumultuous and grand resistance movement, a last-ditch battle for Hong Kong by its people, but the victory was not fully achieved.

---- by Poon Siu To

The brilliant words are filled with care and love for the young people, as if whispering gently to them in this chaotic world.

If "Never Lose Faith, Never Forget" is a bitter tea we must drink, I hope this book is a sweet pill that makes it easier to swallow.
