It's a race against time when historical statues come to life in modern-day Oxford in this action-packed magical adventure.
Strike down the Ore; take control of the world’s statues. After his father mysteriously dies in an archaeological dig, 12-year-old Elliot Wonderful longs for a normal life. Yet, strange things keep happening: statues whisper and come to life around him. Battles between grotesques, gargoyles and monsters commence in the City of Oxford as the stone world comes to life.
Elliott soon discovers he has inherited his father's magic to control statues—a power he shares with his enemy, Rufus Hardy. They race against time to find the Book of Statues, a treasure that will lead them to the source of their power: the mythical Ore. Can Elliott get to it before Rufus and save the city from further destruction?
