What if your emotions were the key to living a fuller, freer life? You deserve to live a life where you feel deeply, love boldly, and show up as the person you were always meant to be. This is your permission slip to begin. We've all been taught to push through discomfort, silence our feelings, and keep moving forward. But what if the very emotions you've been trying to suppress are the missing pieces to your sense of peace, purpose, and joy? Permission Slips for Claiming Our Emotions invites you to pause, breathe, and take a radically different approach to life-one where you claim your emotions as trusted allies instead of obstacles to overcome. This book is for anyone who's ever felt the weight of being "too much" or "not enough." It's for those navigating the tension between staying safe and daring to dream, who want to feel more deeply connected to themselves and others but don't know where to begin. If you've ever wondered what it would take to truly feel alive-not just survive-this is your permission slip to do exactly that.

How this book will change your life: Through heartfelt stories, practical tools, and guided reflections, Permission Slips will help you:

Stop judging your emotions and start seeing them as a source of strength.

Rewrite the story that says emotional vulnerability makes you fragile instead of free.

Discover the peace that comes from truly accepting yourself-messy feelings and all.

Learn how to navigate life's uncertainties with courage, grace, and responsibility.

What's Inside: This book is your emotional toolkit, brimming with actionable insights and soulful guidance to help you unlock the full spectrum of who you are. Inside, you'll find:

A new way to see your emotions: Instead of running from them, learn to decode their messages and embrace them as powerful guides.

Deeply personal stories: Shared by the authors, these stories create a sense of connection, showing you that you're never alone in your experiences.

Practical exercises that work in real life: Gentle, yet powerful practices to help you build emotional resilience, release old patterns, and move toward a life of purpose and joy.

Permission slips for every step of the journey: Simple, profound affirmations that give you the courage to honor your feelings and take bold steps forward.

A bridge between emotional healing and meaningful action: Gain the clarity you need to align your inner world with the outer life you desire, whether it's in your relationships, career, or personal growth.

Permission Slips is more than a book-it's a gentle hand on your shoulder, a reminder that you don't have to do this alone, and an invitation to reclaim the parts of yourself you thought were too much or too broken. Welcome to the journey!

About the authors: The Courageous Hearts Collective is a group of five transformational life coaches. Holly McLoughlin is in the UK, Marna Fujimoto-Pihl is in Canada, with Owen Sea Luckey, Maggie Pierce, and Deborah Thornton all in the US. They were brought together by a shared journey of emotional resilience. Meeting weekly since 2021, they've cultivated a practice of being with all emotions-witnessing, naming, and validating feelings with deep compassion. This collaborative book emerged from their rich discussions, stories, and poems, offering insights into healing, growing emotional capacity, and transforming relationships. Their intention is to model the courage to embrace all parts of ourselves and provide permission slips to guide readers toward deeper self-connection and emotional wisdom.
