Beschreibung
Several light-years from Earth, Kelley spins his great granddaughter a fanciful story about how a summer job at a theme park changed his life forever. A story about discovery, friendship, and sacrifice. Like, literal human sacrifice. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.
In a classic coming of age story, young Kelley arrives at Paradise Parks and Resort seeking a paradise of his own, only to have his hopes and dreams terminated along with his contract. Now, every proper theme park has a princess or two, and at Paradise Parks, Princess Hilola and her gang of feral socialites reign supreme. When they rescue Kelley and show him the finer sides of the island; yacht parties, VIP lounges, and high profile clientele, he thought he'd found his happily ever after...that is, until an ancient island curse turns the park into a very dark and heavy place. Theme rides mysteriously malfunction, people begin disappearing in the jungle, and a string of shark attacks has everyone on high alert. Princess Hilola reveals that in order to set things right, there must be a sacrifice to the massive volcano that looms over the island.
Through Kelley's story, his great granddaughter learns a valuable lesson: in order to find yourself, you must get a little lost. Also, if a Princess invites you to a party, don't drink the punch.
