I grew up in Southeast Missouri and, after college at the University of Missouri, lived in Kansas City for seven years. The most memorable time in Kansas City I spent as an agent for a prestigious private detective agency, aiding in the conviction and sentencing of seven people to Leavenworth Federal Prison.
