Pour gagner, non seulement Raymie doit faire de bonnes actions et apprendre a manier le baton, mais elle doit aussi composer avec la toute menue Louisina Elefante qui s'evanouit constamment et qui a de l'experience dans le monde du spectacle, et la feroce et entetee Beverly Tapinski qui est determinee a saboter le concours. A l'approche du concours, la solitude, le deuil et des questions sans reponses possibles creent entre les trois filles des liens d'amitie insolites et mettent au defi chacune d'entre elles de venir a la rescousse de facons inattendues.Raymie Clarke has come to realize that everything, absolutely everything, depends on her.
