Ancient roots + modern nature sanctuary = future planet!
Inspired by a podcast conversation between Marina Levitina and Heather Sanderson, this short book explores what it means to hold, heal, and re-wild nature from the heart.
Marina Levitina is the director and chairperson of the Lough Grainey Nature Sanctuary in county Clare, Ireland. In this book she shares her personal journey as a child of nature to an adult who, in listening to the land around her, has brought forward the dream and vision of Lough Grainey Nature Sanctuary and vital work to bring a connection with nature to children in many ways (including some that you might not expect!).
As you read these pages, you will be invited to cast your imagination to the land of Lough Grainey, to uncover the myths and ancient connections that make this part of Ireland sacred. To also listen to the land around you, and its own sacred calling and yearning, and to the healing that comes from anyone anywhere working with, protecting, honoring, and re-wilding the land (and, therefore, our own sacred human nature).
Heather offers a plant spirit reading in relation to this work, and Marina and Heather talk about why working with plants is a key part of our planetary evolution. Worksheets to aid in creating your own vision, commitment, and calls to action are also included to make this book an immersive and interactive experience so that you can explore your own connection with nature, your heart's path, discover nature sanctuaries near you, and contribute to the conversation in your own way. Together, the future is possible!
25% of all book sales will be donated to Lough Grainey Nature Sanctuary.
