This new volume explores advances that have been achieved in the effective use of nanocarriers as drug delivery systems to address skin diseases. It presents the progress in the treatment via nanocarriers of acne, dermatitis, psoriasis, and infections. It also looks at follicular delivery as a promising strategy due to reduced particle size of these drug delivery systems.In the first section of the book, the authors cover the use of nanocarriers for skin cancer, topical nanotherapeutics for acne, and topical amphotericin B for fungal diseases. In section two, the chapters discuss nanocarriers for several skin diseases, highlighting relevant information on nanoformulations designed for skin treatment. Chapters on natural ingredients for skin disease treatments are presented as well.
