Ash, seeking escape from her stifling hometown after her twin sister's death, moves to the coast. She is drawn to Jay, a local surfer living with a group of outsiders. Their relationship quickly turns suffocating as Jay isolates her. The household leader Tora returns after a long absence, sparking a dangerous love triangle. When Jay orchestrates a police raid, Tora is arrested, leaving Ash clinging to hope that he'll return to her soon. Months later, a storm destroys their home, leading to chaos. When Tora is released from prison, he finds his home destroyed, and his relationship with Ash and Jay. In a final showdown, Ash leaves for her hometown amidst a trail of destruction. Jay's actions lead to a tragic accident, but in the end, Ash realises that love transcends life.
