Beschreibung
Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Sometimes they have been identified as original researches on the part of Grenfell or his colleagues. In a few cases they were copied (I should think) from the missionary magazines of other societies, or from scientific publications in Belgium or Germany. Wherever such extracts could be defined as not being in any way connected with Grenfell's work, and as having received already independent publication, I have left them unused, or have merely referred to their existence. But where there was no means of identification, and a doubt existed as to whether the passage might not after all be a note compiled by Grenfell or one of his colleagues which had not already appeared in print, I have made use of this information.
