Beschreibung
The dynamics of terrorism have changed significantly over the past two decades. New technologies, globalisation and a complex system of geopolitical conflicts have created an environment in which terrorism has emerged in new ways and forms. The rapid development of information technologies has enabled terrorist organisations to organise their operations on a global scale, while camouflaging their activities and disseminating their propaganda more effectively. This work seeks to provide a comprehensive picture of the social and economic background of international terrorist organisations and the methods used by law enforcement agencies to combat terrorism. It analyses the global trends that shape the development and evolution of terrorism and presents the challenges that the international community faces. It aims to contribute to the understanding of terrorism and to improving the effectiveness of the response to it.
