Kennedy Miller has always been pragmatic. Her father left when she was a baby and her mother died when she was young, leaving her to be raised by widowed rancher Nell Purdue in the small town of Liberty.

But coming across seven marble statues, hidden deep in the bowels of the abandoned castle, she discovers a world she couldn’t possibly have imagined, proof that myths are sometimes grounded in the truth, and a future she’s not sure she’s ready for.
