"Hello, yes, I'm here about the ad," I looked down at the paper again, chuckling over the typo. "The one about a cow handler or feeder? Or something. It doesn't say."
I stood in front of the farm's reception desk in my best blue miniskirt and heels. I was nervous and pretty much at the end of my rope.
Every place that I'd tried told me flat out that they didn't want a homemaker who didn't have any current job skills.
I couldn't help it that my husband of ten years walked out on me, leaving me all the bills and financial responsibilities.
The receptionist looked at the ad, smiled warmly and led me into the back room.
"Mr. Willis will see you now," she indicated after knocking lightly on his door.
"Thank you," I said as butterflies flitted around in my stomach.
The second I stepped into Mr. Willis' office, I was greeted by the most handsome stud of a man that I'd ever seen. He was tall, blond and extremely sexy. My heart quickened as I tried my best to make eye contact without giving away my attraction to him.
"Ah, hello there, Miss..." He began, sweeping his arms out in my direction.
